Jeff Bennett
for
Puyallup City Council
Jeff Bennett has called Puyallup home his entire life. Jeff credits his two daughters for helping shape his unique perspective and his drive to serve the community. His wife Shannon’s service work in local government and community organizations has also motivated his continued focus on community service.
Jeff’s experience in law enforcement gives him a deep understanding of public safety, while his current work in renewable energy reflects the values he holds for the environment, local business development and job creation. Jeff’s priorities are to ensure safe neighborhoods while improving infrastructure like parks, roads, sidewalks, youth programs and senior services to ensure an excellent quality of life for everyone in Puyallup. Fiscal accountability, responsible government and community-centered decision making are also core to his values.
Jeff also feels encouraged by all the new residents moving to town over the past few years, demonstrating what a wonderful and welcoming place Puyallup is to live. Jeff sees the need for council members who care about everyone regardless of background, income, or circumstance. He encourages everyone to contact him with perspectives, issues and questions and he looks forward to keeping in close touch as a true representative for all who live in Puyallup’s District 1.
